You know what is amazing about having 25,000 square feet of Art studio space? You can have 10 new members join within 10 days and keep inviting more because every new member just makes the place that much cooler. So welcome to Aurora Tarango, Eva Victoria, George Casillas and Liz Covarrubias, Harry Schultee, Gubr, Sal Sierra, Pablo Hernandez, Reyna R Rey, and Susan Gonzalez. Also, there is talk about a dedicated collaborative glass studio and the photo and video memberships are being worked out right now. Thanks everyone! Things are coming together very nicely.

Puro Borde es un proyecto que comenzó en el 2011 al ver la necesidad de muchos artistas los cuales no podían exponer “del otro lado” por su estatus migratorio al no poder cruzar.  Se retoma el papel de el pollero o el coyote y se usa para promover la cultura y generar exposiciones de ambos lado de la franja fronteriza en Cd. Juarez y El Paso TX.

Thus, as a community-focused collective of artists and social activists and mediators, we work with youth in an ongoing process to provide venues for their self-generated creative expressions via artistic events and activities. Our vital objective is bridging the community to the needs, values and interests of youth through the promoting and strengthening of their abilities and ideas.
